Release 18.4
Release 18.4 delivers a powerful set of updates tailored for today’s dynamic workplace — offering robust capabilities for large, multi-site enterprises while maintaining the simplicity and ease of use needed by smaller organizations. This release focuses on streamlining user management, deepening integration with Microsoft platforms, and improving the overall communication experience across devices and locations.
Automated User Provisioning
Keep User Data Consistent and Current Organization-Wide
Release 18.4 introduces support for automated user provisioning and management, enabling organizations to automatically create, update, delete, and disable users on the Zultys MX system via Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory) or another SCIM 2.0 provider.
This synchronization simplifies the process of keeping user information up to date on the Zultys system and enables faster employee onboarding and offboarding.
Automated user provisioning is powered by SCIM 2.0, a widely adopted standard for identity management. While this functionality has been designed and tested with Microsoft Entra ID, it is also compatible with other SCIM 2.0 providers such as Okta, WorkOS, Stytch, and Frontegg — offering flexibility for diverse IT environments.
New ZAC for Teams Capabilities
Call Teams Contacts Directly From ZAC
Zultys MX Release 18.4 brings powerful new capabilities to ZAC for Teams, enhancing integration and streamlining communication between Zultys and Microsoft Teams users. With this update, contact synchronization now works seamlessly across Teams and ZAC for Teams. Users can sync Teams contacts directly into ZAC, combining them with existing ZAC contacts through Microsoft Outlook contact integration. A top feature request, this functionality allows users to call all Teams contacts directly from ZAC for Teams — eliminating silos and simplifying collaboration.
Sync Presence Statuses in Real Time
In addition, Microsoft Teams presence now syncs directly with ZAC. Status updates are reflected instantly across both platforms and work across all ZAC clients — including Mobile ZAC, Desktop ZAC, and Web ZAC — ensuring Teams and Zultys users remain connected and in sync throughout the day.

Import Contact Lists From Outlook
The release also introduces improved importing for ZAC for Teams, making it easy to bring in Outlook contact lists, including personal contacts. Users can now select specific contact folders during import, giving them more control and making it faster to stay organized.

Click-to-Call With TEL Links
ZAC for Teams now supports click-to-call functionality from websites, CRMs, and any application that uses TEL-enabled phone numbers. When using a softphone, users can simply click any hyperlinked number to place a call directly from ZAC for Teams — streamlining workflows and saving time.
True Hot Desking
Simplify Device Access Across Your Organization
Zultys MX Release 18.4 introduces true hot desking in real time, enabling seamless flexibility across locations. This feature supports multi-site and multi-campus environments, allowing users to log in and work from any shared device — no matter where they are. Employees can now log into a device on the fly, even if another user is still logged in, with no need to manually log the previous user out.
Once logged in, users receive incoming calls to their personal extension directly on the device and can make outbound calls using their own extension. Call recipients will see the correct caller ID, maintaining consistency and professionalism. Additionally, the phone’s label updates automatically to display the name of the currently logged-in user, ensuring easy identification at a glance.

Location-Based E911 Enhancement
Assign Emergency Locations by Device
With Release 18.4, Zultys introduces enhanced location-based E911 capabilities, allowing phones to be assigned room-by-room, device-specific emergency location identifiers — without the need for additional DIDs. When 911 is dialed from any device, the physical location of the phone is automatically transmitted to onsite security personnel and designated staff, regardless of which user is currently logged in. This ensures a faster and more accurate internal response, as security teams can immediately act on the device’s known location and relay that information to emergency responders upon arrival — delivering the right information when it matters most. Notification options for 911 calls include SMS alerts, email, and pop-up messages for Operator Groups.

This new feature also enables additional use cases, such as the ability to hide specific users from the address book. While each location is technically configured as a separate user in the Zultys system, these users are excluded from the ZAC directory to keep the employee list clean and easy to navigate.
Emergency Call Notification Enhancements
Release 18.4 introduces new configuration options that allow emergency call notifications to be tailored by location.
Each location can now have a unique SMS sender number for 911 alerts, meaning the system can assign a different caller ID for each site when sending out emergency call notifications via SMS.
Additionally, Operator Groups can be configured to receive 911 notifications only for their specific location, meaning notifications can be limited to the site each group is responsible for, rather than being sent to all Operator Groups system-wide.
ZAC 9.4
ZAC 9.4 introduces key updates designed to improve usability, security, and integration. This release adds support for SAML-based Single Sign-On (SSO), builds Flex and Flex Plus directly into the ZAC client for simplified CRM integration, and expands click-to-dial compatibility with Zoho CRM and other TEL-enabled applications.
Single Sign-On (SSO) Integration
Streamline Access With Single Sign-On
SAML SSO has been developed and tested with Entra ID and ClassLink, with the potential to support other identity providers such as Okta, Duo, Auth0, and OneLogin. With SSO, users can log into ZAC and connected apps using a single set of credentials, eliminating the need to juggle multiple passwords or perform repeated logins. This enhances security with options like multi-factor authentication (MFA) via the identity provider, while reducing password fatigue and streamlining access.

Flex and Flex Plus Now Built Into ZAC
Simplify Setup With In-ZAC Configuration
Zultys Flex and Flex Plus are now fully integrated into the ZAC client, eliminating the need for a separate application. All configuration and functionality can be accessed directly within ZAC, allowing for easy, one-time admin setup with no additional downloads required.
These tools make it easy to enable business-critical third-party integrations. Zultys Flex supports integrations with over 20 CRMs, including ConnectWise, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, Pipeline, SugarCRM, and Zoho. Zultys Flex Plus expands support to 80+ CRMs and adds features like customizable screen pop layouts and CRM credential management.

Flex is included at no extra cost for all Premium and Contact Center users. For organizations looking to unlock even more CRM integrations and advanced configuration options, Zultys Flex Plus is available for a per-user fee.

Improved Click-to-Dial Compatibility
ZAC now supports click-to-dial functionality in Zoho CRM and other web applications that use the TEL command.
Mobile ZAC 1.4
Mobile ZAC 1.4 delivers secure Single Sign-On and performance enhancements.
Single Sign-On (SSO) Support
Mobile ZAC is now a SAML-enabled application. SAML SSO has been developed and tested with Entra ID and ClassLink, with the potential to support other identity providers such as Okta, Duo, Auth0, and OneLogin. With SSO, users can log into Mobile ZAC and connected apps using a single set of credentials, eliminating the need to juggle multiple passwords or perform repeated logins. This enhances security with options like multi-factor authentication (MFA) via the identity provider, while reducing password fatigue and streamlining access.

Silent Reconnect Notifications
The “Reconnect” push notification has been updated to be silent, minimizing interruptions while maintaining reliability.

MX Report 4.3
MX Report — Zultys’ powerful call reporting and analytics platform — now supports SSO, making it easier than ever for users to securely access custom call data reports and performance metrics across the organization.
