Zultys Introduces MX Release 9.0 Unified Communications Software and the All-New MXvirtual™ Cloud-Based IP Phone System
Zultys, a premier provider of innovative unified communications solutions that empower businesses to collaborate effectively, today announced MX Release 9.0 for the award-winning MX Unified Communications platform as well as the official release of MXvirtual™, a cloud-based comprehensive Unified Communications solution for enterprises and managed service providers.
Zultys’ MX Release 9.0 introduces MXvirtual, a VMware® Ready Virtual Appliance
Zultys’ MXvirtual cloud-based solution is now available to customers alongside the premise-based MX250 and MX30 IP phone systems. With Release 9.0, customers looking to move their company infrastructure to the cloud need not look any further. MXvirtual brings Zultys’ all-in-one phone system and Unified Communication architecture to the cloud delivering an enterprise grade Contact Center solution, mobile integration, instant messaging & presence, HD video, advanced call routing, fax server, interactive voice response and much more. Customers may seamlessly combine cloud and premise-based systems for complete flexibility. Zultys is a VMware® Technology Alliance Partner; Zultys MXvirtual has received VMware® Ready approval and all MXvirtual customers have the option to implement server-level high-availability to eliminate the possibility of system outages.
New Pricing Model for MXvirtual
Zultys is excited to announce the availability of a rental pricing model for MXvirtual, in addition to the traditional outright purchase option. The rental pricing model allows Zultys channel partners to offer customers a flexible monthly OPEX solution to their voice and UC needs. Zultys also announced that it will offer hosting services to its channel partners, or partners may host MXvirtual at their data center on the rental program.
Additional Capabilities included in MX Release 9.0
MX Release 9.0 includes a new Microsoft Exchange Communicator, which allows Zultys MX phone systems to integrate via Exchange Web Services with Microsoft Exchange Online, Exchange 2010 and Exchange 2013.
Another much-awaited capability making a debut in MX Release 9.0 is the centralized MXIE Unified Communication client management. System administrators now have an easy way to manage settings and call handling rules for all users on the MX system. For less tech-savvy users, system administrators may disable the ability to change application settings all together.
Other MX Release 9.0 features include:
- Plantronics wireless headset integration with MXIE softphone to provide Answer/Disconnect control from the headset.
- Enhancements to Zultys’ existing multi-site redundancy capabilities of MXnetwork™, including full instant messaging and presence functionality during failover plus enhanced monitoring and management functions.
- MXoutbound™, Zultys’ fully integrated outbound dialer solution, now allows for automatic upload of contact information simplifying integration with third party systems.
“The most important aspect of Release 9.0 is that whether deployed in the cloud or at the user’s premise, the experience is identical from both an administrator and a user’s stand point,” said Steve Francis, chief sales and marketing officer for Zultys. He adds, “With Release 9.0, we now provide our Channel Partners and customers with a flexible system architecture that allows pure cloud, pure premise deployment, or any combination of the two.”
